The trending score is calculated as a weighted average of all the ratings that your team has assigned to Evidence, Research and Experiments connected to this idea.

Experiments and Research generally carry a greater weight since they typically have multiple pieces of Evidence connected to them.

The same piece of Evidence can be connected directly to an idea through an Experiment to the same ideas.

When there are more pieces of Evidence tied to an idea, it is weighted more when confirmed or disconfirmed. An Evidence entry can be uniquely rated for each of its connections to ideas, Research, or Experiments.
